2015 Advocacy Day

Ohio Association of Rheumatology and the Arthritis Foundation joined together for the 2nd Annual Advocacy Day on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Advocacy Day was a great opportunity for physicians, nurses, practice managers, patients and advocates to join together from across the state to educate the Ohio State Senators and Representatives on the needs of individuals with rheumatic diseases and our legislative priorities. The morning started with an orientation featuring national and state leaders speaking on effective advocacy techniques and an overview of the legislation support. The one day event culminate with over 60 attendees meeting with their legislators and staff.
